Very creative Roy! Good contrast in color against the table. I like it a lot!
Thank you Vincent. It is a sheet of yellow paper on the table. I hand held the camera, set to close up. Had to control the angle of the shot to avoid flash flare. I thought the black against the yellow background would be a good contrast.
I agree with Vin. This is a great piece of work. I am also inspired by the fact that you created a shot especially for the challenge. Way to go Roy!
Thanks LarryI carried the idea around in my head for a few days and could visualise the result. When I put the idea to the test it worked out well. Only took 6 or 7 shots to get the two pics. Not technically briliant pics but I am very happy that my idea worked.Glad you like the results.
i like the lighting, it is as if you shot the same dice over and over again.
Thank you Moietymonk. The only lighting was from a 100 watt globe over the table plus from the in camera flash unit.I never expected this piece to create so much interest either here or on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/sharper_147/Thank to all for your kind comments.
