Ever hear a guitar creak as you tighten the strings? It turns out that the strings are applying about 200 pounds of pressure on to the guitar.

Coming Through...

King of the Jungle

The woman in the middle caught my attention during this Maasai church service
in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya. Partly because she was by far the most beautiful
of the women, but also because she had an intoxicating air of confidence about her.
The way she held herself and interacted with the other women and children made me
wonder what she would have become if she had been born in a first world.
But I'll attribute strength to all these women. Most were attending church against the
will of their husbands and would be beaten when they returned home.
